Hoopers Workshops

Canine Hoopers UK was formed in 2017 to provide UK handlers and their dogs with a fun, fast, low-impact sport, comprising of hoops, tunnels, barrels, and other exciting obstacles, for you and your dog to navigate against the clock!

CHUK strives to protect the long-term well-being of the dog by maintaining flowing courses of low impact obstacles, allowing it to be an inclusive dog sport. Catering for large and tiny breeds, dogs which require a little extra space, patience or understanding and also handlers with limited mobility, making this an accessible sport to a wide variety of dogs and handlers.

What is Hoopers?

A fun dog sport for everyone!

About our Hoopers workshops

Over the year we hold several hoopers workshops from 'Have a Go' taster sessions, introducing you to the foundations of hoopers training, a great way to discover if it is something your dog will enjoy, to beginners/sequencing and full course running workshops for all levels of competitors.

We also hold train in the ring workshops to give you a feel of a competitive environment without the stress of a real competition, as well as welcoming some fabulous guest instructors to the paddock.

Important Information About This Workshop
  • Consistency is key when it comes to training and we love to welcome the whole family to take part, enabling you to have a fun learning experience together!

  • We recommend that all dogs are fully vaccinated before coming to the paddock, due to the high footfall of visiting dogs, wildlife and neighbouring livestock.

You will be notified as soon as possible in the case of any cancellations. Refreshments for handlers will be available throughout the workshop.

  • If you are unable to attend for any reason, refunds will not be available for this workshop unless your place can be filled. If you do need to cancel for any reason it should be done as soon as possible via email, stating your name and your dog’s name.
